One boy in one gang. They manage to change the fate of one man and one house. "It's funny how the house stands during the blitz but falls at the end at the hands of a group of boys with no power tools," says Destructor.

The story is based on Trevor's real life experience after becoming a member of a local gang. In an attempt to fit in, and with the influence of the boys, they turn to a house that stands by their playground - a bomb crater from the London Blitz.
The boys all see Trevor as a high-class kid who doesn't belong, and so he does something drastic. He leads them in a crusade to destroy that last house. See the exciting twists and turns in each episode as Trevor's longing to fit in feeds his longing to destroy the unscratched house!
Trevor took a turn for the worse after his influence of the boys in The Destructors. He became a criminal, destroying a home and all the belongings inside. Trevor also influenced the boys into becoming lower than they were and ruining this home. The entangling influences that all the boys had on each other in turn affected another character's life - "Old Misery", who lived in that house. Their "harmless prank" left the man homeless. Had Trevor not been in the picture, Old Misery's home and life would have not been destroyed. The interaction between the boys and the relationships they built caused another's way of life to be forever ruined.

As a small child, Pearl was often caught playing by herself with imaginary friends and making toys of nothing. Hester, living alone, planted a seed that quickly grew into an apple tree the more attention and "food" it was given. It's up to the gardening instructor to teach and explain how trees grow and why they grow the way they do.
